Sacramento‘s Mayoral Race is one of the quietest on record. With the primary less than a week away, the local media has been relatively silent. Much of it has to do with low profile candidates running for the office.
Mayor Kevin Johnson‘s war chest is 10 ten times of his rivals. However there is trouble in Democratland. He hasn’t received on major endorsement from a local ranking Democrat. The largest political club the Stonewall Democrats have made recommations for next Tuesday’s primary with one major omission.
The mayor’s snub of the cities Influentual Neighborhood Associations could haunt him at the ballot box.
Former Sacramento Mayor Anne Rudin is the city’s Grand Dame, well connected and respected. At 88, her mind is sharp, she has a command of city politics and her reach is commanding . Any Candidate will welcome her support.
The recipient of her support is a Republican, Jonathan Michael Rewers.
Rewers is also endorsed by the two term former mayor of Sacramento Heather Fargo and joining them is Former Sacramento County Supervisor Illa Collin.

“low profile canditates” should be “candidates”.
“Former Sacramento Mayor Anne Rudin is the cities Grand Dame” should be “city’s”.
“more than 10 ten times of his rivals.” should either be “that of his rivals” or “10 times his rivals”.
If you fix these errors, I promise to put a link on my Facebook.

Thanks for your reply. 2 out of 3 corrections is a good start.
Since you said you appreciate all comments…
“10 ten times of his rivals” is still wrong.
So is “He hasn’t received on major endorsement”.
Also, technically it should be “local media have been relatively silent” not “has been” because the word “media” is plural.
In the sentence “The mayor’s snub of the cities Influentual Neighborhood…” it should be “city’s” and “influential”.
“Stonewall Democrats have made recommations” should be “recommendations”.
I have now posted it to my Facebook page. Good luck reaching 21,000 and I mean that sincerely. My free proofreading offer still stands.
