Meet Jessie Dimmick
an all american kid… Couldn’t you just see him working at your local convenience food store.
A couple of years ago Jessie broke into the Topeka Kansas home of Jared and Lindsay Rowley.
Jessie didn’t climb through a window or force a door open, he drove a stolen van onto their lawn.
Jessie was on the run from the police, at the time he was suspected of killing a Colorado man.
According to the couple, he held them at knife point. After a video and some snack foods (Cheetos and Dr Pepper) mmmmm . Jessie fell asleep (after all, running from the police can take a lot out of you!)
The couple, not wanting to disturb the Dr Pepper guzzling kidnapper left the home and contacted the police.
Got it ?
Good!
Somewhere between the breakinand the Robin Williams Video, Jessie said, the couple agreed to hide him from the Po Po (police) in exchange for some cash?
The police arrested Jessie…..
During the arrest Jessie was shot when a cop’s gun accidentally went off .
Jessie is currently in an Adams County, Colo., lockup facing murder charges in connection with the killing of Michael Curtis, the Colorado man. He was also convicted of kidnapping and other charges in May 2010. He was sentenced for 10 years and 11 months.
The Rowleys sued Jessie for $75,000 last month for emotional distress and home intrusion.
Jessie in turn is suing the Rowleys for breech of contract.
“I told them that I was being pursuid (sic) by a person, or persons, who appeared to be police officers, who were trying to kill me.” He added: “I, the defendant, asked the Rowleys to hide me because I feared for my life. I offered the Rowleys an unspecified amount of money which they agreed upon, therefore forging a legally binding oral contract.”
“As a result of the plaintiffs breech (sic) of contract, I, the defendant suffered a gunshot to my back, which almost killed me. The hospital bills alone are in excess of $160,000, which I have no way to pay,” he is seeking $75000 for pain and suffering.
Jessie, who does not have a lawyer is asking for $235,000
Jessie Dimmick has also filed a civil suit against the city of Topeka in September 2010 seeking damages in excess of $75,000, including medical expenses.
