Allegedly the fight started when Chris Brown sent a bottle over to Drake. That’s when the Toronto rapper went face to face in the club with Chris and began arguing about Rihanna. Some believe Meek Mill may have instigated the fight, who was also in the club hanging out with Drake. However after words were exchanged, Drake punched Chris Brown in the face, and hit him in the mouth with a bottle before he could retalitate from the punch.
Additional eyewitness reports are saying that a member of Drake’s crew picked up a bottle and hit Chris directly in the face with the bottle. This caused bottles, glass cups, and metal containers to fly.
Chris Brown jumped on twitter and went in.

Drake is adamant … he is not responsible for the bloody gash on Chris Brown‘s face … claiming he was simply leaving the nightclub when the brawl broke out … but sources tell us, the fight started after Chris Brown and a rapper at Drake’s table started trash talking each other.
The rapper hanging with Drake — Meek Mill — was screaming at Chris and Chris was giving it right back to Meek Mill. One of Chris’ lieutenants was also involved in the screaming match.
Our sources would NOT say what specifically they were arguing about — partly out of fear that someone will get hurt. But we are told the argument was NOT over Rihanna.
One source says Chris was hurt when Meek Mill hit him with a bottle.
A rep for Drake tells TMZ … “Drake did not participate in any wrongdoing of any kind last night at W.i.P. He was on his way out of the club when the altercation began.
The rapper seemed to reference the fight in the middle of a song. “It’s last call and you’re really too drunk to give a f—,” said Drake. “A n—- in the corner is standing there looking at you funny. You bump elbows with him on the way to the bathroom, but really there’s only one n—- that you got to think about.”

Fans Weigh in on the Brown-Drake Feud: Turns out, several people attending the Drake concert Saturday weren’t impressed with the way the two handled themselves. “I think it’s ridiculous that two grown men of celebrity status would behave like that,” said 21-year-old Jonathan Rosado ahead of the show.
4. Witness to Brawl Breaks Silence: Twenty-one year-old model Ingrid Guttierez was sitting at Brown’s table when the fight broke out and as a result, she was scarred after a bottle was thrown. Though there remain conflicting reports as to what actually happened that night, her lawyer maintains that his client said that Brown was “polite throughout the whole night.” “He was very calm and what he did, I believe, was he tried to even defend my client Ingrid,” her lawyer said.
5. Brown Slams Media Coverage: On Friday, Brown took to Twitter to vent frustrations over media coverage of the brawl and left his harshest criticisms to TMZ. “@tmz y’all full of sh*t!!! It’s insane how your stories are not informative at all and far from fuc*ing facts!” Brown tweeted, which has since been deleted. He added: “It’s really sad! All y’all in that office sit behind a desk and hide behind ur lives by trying to tarnish others! Good game!”
6. Other Victims Come Foward: A 21-year-old named Veronica, who plans on legal action against the club (and possibly the singers) claims to have also been injured in the bar fight. “I heard people screaming … so I tried to get away from the action and hid behind a couch,” she told TMZ, after which someone stepped on her head and she suffered a gash on her hand. She also said that in the ambulance, she saw another female victim who was hit by a bottle and had blood gushing from her forehead.
There’s a whole new meaning to poppin’ bottles now.
Sal Strazzullo, attorney for Ingrid Gutierrez, the 21-year-old model who was at Chris Brown‘s table the night of the brawl with Drake‘s entourage at the W.I.P. club in Manhattan revealed to E! News his client’s take on the incident that occured early Thursday morning.

Sal explained his client’s involvement: “[Ingrid] was with Chris Brown and his entourage just having a good time…she was at his table…right next to him when this occurred. She was just having a good time, a 21-year-old out, a young lady at a nightclub in Manhattan and all of a sudden a bottle came from [the direction of] the Drake table.”
As for how the story played out before the bottle was reportedly sent over from Drake’s table, Sal shares: “From what I’ve heard from my client…there was a note. A note passed by Drake to Chris Brown in regards to something with Rihanna.”
However, what the note read, Sal was unable to share, explaining: “The contents of those notes at this time I’m not going to be able to reveal because I don’t know their authenticity,

Among the many innocent bystanders injured was Hollie C. an Australian Tourist who received 16 stitches after being hit by a flying bottle.
The Spin
From all reports, Chris Brown is cooperating with the Police, and Drake is resistant. During a Long Island concert Friday night Drake said “When I woke up this morning, I had to think about a lot of things,” Drake said onstage. “But the only thing I gave a f— about was that I was in New York City tonight.”
