3 Community Forums this week: Topic Sacramento Kings and Downtown Arena Proposals: Be heard

How do you feel about tax dollars being used to keep the Sacramento Kings and building an Arena at Downtown Plaza.

Here is an opportunity to be heard…. This is bellwether before the March 26th Council meeting where the council may vote to authorize a public subsidy to help finance an arena.

Three meetings are planned, council members will be in attendance. This is an opportunity to voice your opinion.

The first meeting will be Thursday, March 21st from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., with a 6 p.m. welcome by city manager John Shirey. It will be held at the new City Hall at 915 I St.

The next meeting will be held on Friday, March 22 from 5:30 to 7:30 at  Robertson Center at 3525 Norwood Ave (Near I-80)

The final meeting will be held on Saturday, March 23 from 5:30 to 7:30 at  the Sam Pannell Community Center at 2450 Meadowview Road.
