Its happening where the lights are bright. Downtown- Midtown and East Sacramento. Baby Boomers, empty Nesters and Millennials are returning to the urban core where one can walk to restaurants,shops museums and other venues.
The once dormant condo market is on fire in midtown. During the Economic crises, they couldn’t give condos away, many became rentals. Over 83% of the L Street Lofts are sold. After many years inactivity, sold signs are common at Tapestri Square in
midtown.
There are many developments in and around Sacramento. Construction has begun in Sacramento’s newest neighborhood, Township 9 . it located on (Richards Blvd and 7th Street‘s is beginning to take shape. The development will eventually have retail and a mix of low and medium height buildings.

A new neighborhood is under construction on the west side of the Tower Bridge. Unlike Township 9 , its parks, bike and jogging trails are already in place. Macy’s is a five minute drive or 10 minute walk.
