Black Coaches and Players of the Los Angeles Clippers have long known of their bosses racism. Six years ago a long term executive of the franchise unsuccessfully sued their boss citing race.
The federal government were successful in their suit charging he engaged in discriminatory rental practices against Hispanics, blacks, and families with children.
Clearly, Donald Sterling’s girlfriend (who is half black and Hispanic) had a vendetta. She is a defendant in a law suite brought by the Sterling family, alleging that she embezzled more than $1.8 million, who told Mr. Sterling that she would get even,” a team statement read.
According to TMZ, Sterling and girlfriend argued in regards to a photo she posted on Instagram in which she posed with Magic Johnson.
For many people, especially in Los Angeles, The Lakers Hall of Famer is the Mother Teresa of Basketball. Johnson told the press he and his wife would not attend Clipper games as long as Sterling is the owner.
Some members considered boycotting the upcoming playoff game with the Golden State Warriors.
“At the game today, players wore their Clippers warm-up shirts and left them there. They then warmed up wearing inside-out red shooting shirts that did not display the Clippers name or logo. During the game, players wore black arm or wrist bands and black socks.

Over 70% of the players in the Association are black. A very large part of Donald Sterling’s financial interests,and income is generated via black people.
On May 15, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) will honor Donald Sterling with a lifetime achievement award. For years Mr Sterling has donated thousands tickets for all the Clippers home games to various youth groups in the LA areas.
[UPDATE]: The NAACP has announced on its official Twitter account that Sterling will not receive the award.
NBA is likely to force him out. He could fight, but he would be fighting against his past deeds.
