Lodi, California is thirty five miles south east of Sacramento. The community of nearly 65,000 people is the Zinfandel Capital of the World . Lodi doesn’t have the panash of Napa valley region but it is making its mark, drawing thousands of tourist each year.
The area was once famous for the Tokay Grape a seeded table grape that features a crisp skin and full, fruity flavor. It was widely popular in vineyards around town in the early 1900s, until consumers tastes changed to seedless grapes
Tokay is also the name of Lodi oldest High School home of the Tokay Tigers. Lodi is the birthplace of A&W Root Beer.
It is also the home of David William Dixon a thirty seven years old bookkeeper.
For five years David William Dixon has been embezzling money from two Lodi companies Rockdale Brothers and Classic Cache.

According to a press release from the San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office. Dixon a Lodi resident ,stole nearly a half a million from Rockdale Brothers and nearly 200 K from Classic Cache.
While were a unclear one who blew the whistle but the State of California wants its cut of the loot. Investigators believed that Dixon filed false tax returns, not declaring the stolen money between 2010 and 2013. In addition to the $700 K ,Dixon will be ordered to repay the businesses the state want nearly 50 grand in taxes, investigative cost and interest.
Embezzlement and Tax evasion Dixon will learn his fate on the 15th in the San Joaquin County Superior Court, Lodi Branch at 8:30 a.m. in department L1.
