On July 8th, The Public Corruption Unit of the Southern District of New York charged Epstein with sex trafficking and conspiracy traffic minors for sex. Court documents allege that a least 40 underage girls were brought into Epstein’s mansion for sexual encounters. Epstein is currently in Jail until his bail hearing on the 15th. He say’s he is not guilty of the charges.
