One of things Donald Trump knows well is branding. He knows if its repeated it over and over it may eventually stick . Little Marco, Pocahontas, Fake News, Crooked Hillary, Lyin Ted, Rocket Man are just a few labels.
The initial response to Trump’s comments about Mexicans in April 2015 by all the Presidential Candidates was mild and delayed. The response from Latin America was immediate. The government of Mexico called the comments “prejudiced” and “absurd”; the Venezuelan president, Nicolás Maduro, said Trump was “mentally ill”.
Within days of Trumps comments, Macy’s, NBC, Univision and other businesses cut ties with the Presidential Candidate.
Hispanic leaders immediately called on The Republican Party to condemn his remarks.
While there should have been a steady series of loud gongs saying Donald Trump does not represent my party my America! Presidential Candidates on both side of the aisle were relatively silent. Hillary Clinton, first response was three weeks after his comment. In July, Marco Rubio said “Trump’s comments are not just offensive and inaccurate, but also divisive. Jeb Bush, who’s wife is Mexican said “Trump was wrong and “Maybe we’ll have a chance to have an honest discussion about it onstage.”
This was after a tweet, where Trump tweeted .Jeb Bush likes “Mexican illegals because of his wife” The tweet was removed, but not before it was copied.
Donald Trump chips away at topic. Citizen Donald, chipped away at President Obama, until the President of the United States produced a birth certificate.
The next President of the United States will be elected in less than 450 days.
Donald Trump isn’t your conventional candidate and while Democrats argue about the best path to health care, free college and $1000 a month payment to American, they seem to have lost sight of the prize and the small fact that not one of these will come to fruition until a Democrat wins!
The Democrats must chip away at President on a daily basis. They must turn when he turns using his words in the media to force him back to center. Because he is rarly challenged by other politicians he has full control of the narrative.
In 2016, his competitors allow him complete control (which he had hourly). They thought the best response was the debate stage. An area where he isn’t necessarily strong. While they were practicing he was with the media creating of news stories.
Calling him a lier, inept, will not be effective. However, he has created a path for all of the Candidates to use at every rally , every time a camera is on. The potential victor has to be accessible to everyone.
Respond Issues that matter to Americans.
When was the last time you’ve heard a Democratic Candidate ask the Audience?
” Donald Trump Says he cares about gun control, do you believe him?
Donald Trumps says he is for health care for all Americans, do you believe him?
Chip, Chip, Chip
The Democrat’s are asleep at the wheel. To beat this man, the Democrats has to chip away at his promises until the sound resonates with Americans.
While its still very early, Kamala Harris recent poll numbers are in free fall, O’Rouke, Castro, Booker, Buttigieg and Yang, are looking for traction.
If Donald Trump was a Democrat, members of Republican Party would be on cable news Denouncing these recent statements.
“In my opinion, if you vote for a Republican you’re being very disloyal to Jewish people, and you’re being very disloyal to Israel. And only weak people would say anything other than that.”
“This is a trade war that should have taken place years ago… somebody had to do it. I am the Chosen One.”
These statements are nearly 24 old. The media would jump at the chance to hear a Presidential Candidate condemn these comments, where are the tweets questioning his mental stability?
Where are the Democrats?
There is a lot of ammunition out there.

China’s exit piles on to a devastating year for farmers, who have struggled through record flooding and an extreme heat wave that destroyed crop yields, and trade war escalations that have lowered prices and profits this year. “It’s really, really getting bad out here,” said Bob Kuylen, who’s farmed for 35 years in North Dakota. “Trump is ruining our markets. No one is buying our product no more, and we have no markets no more.”
While the President says the trade war is not hurting America, J P Morgan Chase says the tariffs are already costing Americans $600 a year in goods from China. That amount could increase will rise to $1,000 if Trump carries through on his plan to levy tariffs on another $300 billion of levy tariffs on another $300 billion of US imports from China.
Wake up Democrats! Nap time is over!
