I am an occasional fan of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, I find their disagreements incredibly long and tedious. Last season, Beverly Hills added a person of color, actress Garcelle Beauvais and this season they added another women of color Crystal Kung Minkoff.
This season began as the last, a long el stupido arguement about personal space and race. Sutton didn’t want to be viewed as a racist. The reality is when people talk about race there will be misunderstandings, particially if new to the group as Crystal is. However, the story , this season is Ericka and her husband Tom. Its early 2021, and the full story about Tom hasn’t been released.
The Waitress Married a Millionaire
Ericka sends a text to all her friends telling them that she has left Tom and is filing for divorce. In the six seasons the ice queen has been on #Rhobh, she has been very tight lipped about her personal life. After annoucing her divorce, she started pouring, shocking the women with details. We learned she didn’t have her own money, Tom controllled conversations, had affairs, drove off a cliff…….
There are questions. In one scene, she’s talking to Kyle about her marriage and crying with mascara dripping down her face. Some on social media screamed fake.
Last week, she stepped into the bathroom to gather herself. She was talking. Some gibberish about “not meaning for something”and I became cynical saying to myself your miked. Hmmm.
Tom Girardi IS big stuff! Tom met Ericka when she was a waitress at a resturant. The two have been married 20 years, Tom is thirty two years older than Ericka. In 1970, Girardi became the first attorney in the state of California to win a $1 million-plus award for a medical malpractice case. In 2003, he was inducted into the Trial Lawyer Hall of Fame. He won a $450 million dollars case against Pacific Gas and Electric which was the subject of the movie Erin Brockovich. A played a major role in the California’s Democratic Party, fund rasing and hosting events.
Late last year,Tom was accused of “misappropriating clients funds.
Exspensive to be Erika
Erika wasn’t your basic Beverly Hills Housewife. She wasn’t a size one, she drank a regular coke.with her french fries. The Georgia born, had a tough “Cher’ like vibe and she would beat some ass if nessarry. Her style was extreme, there was nothing concervative about her clothes. She didn’t participate in those long drawn out fights, she put a period on them.
She soon became a fan favorite, appearing on talk shows. She had a glam squad that cost her 40 thousand dollars a month. The couple had two private jets and she drove exotic car?
What did Ericka know?
For most of us, pedestrian poor people.. Its unfathomable, that we wouldnt know about our spouces financials. The BH ladies said, they always signed contracts without question because they trusted their husbands.
Tom’s firm allegedly loaned Ericka Twenty million dollars.
Ruth Madoff, never knew about her husbands finances. Her husband Bernie who defrauded thousands including friends and family memebers.

Last weeks episode, tested the bond between Ericka and her cast mates as an explosive article was written by The LA Times about she and Tom. There are many questions ,her friends are planning a meeting without her to discuss the article.

The Real Housewives of Beveley Hills may be the most compelling reality show this season .
